CERTIFICATION COURSE 1 – INTRODUCTORY COURSE IN NUTRITIONAL MEDICINE
The Certification Course 1- Introductory Course in Nutritional Medicine is the starting point and foundation of SAAARMM’s Education, providing the basis of nutritional medicine. The Certification Course Part 1 requires completion lectures and training which are compulsory. You will learn the latest biomedical science and research in nutritional medicine as well as practical tools for implementation in clinical practice. Completion of lecture and training is compulsory.
CERTIFICATION COURSE 2 – PRACTICAL APPROACH IN NUTRITIONAL MEDICINE
Certification Course 2- Practical Approach in Nutritional Medicine is designed to provide you with an intermediary level of knowledge on nutritional medicine. The lectures will provide you with the knowledge and experience required to confidently incorporate nutritional medicine into your clinical practice.
CERTIFICATION COURSE 3 – ADVANCE COURSE IN NUTRITIONAL MEDICINE
Certification Course 3- Advance Course in Nutritional Medicine is designed to provide you with an advance, in- depth level of knowledge on nutritional medicine. The lectures will broaden and build on your existing understanding of nutritional medicine.
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE IN NUTRITIONAL MEDICINE (PCNM)
In addition to the completion of learning modules Course 1, Course 2 and Course 3, the students are required to sit for a written examination for a Professional Certificate in Nutritional Medicine (PCNM).
FELLOWSHIP (FMNM) – FELLOW OF MALAYSIAN NUTRITIONAL MEDICINE (SAAARMM)
The Fellowship (FMNM) is a reputable fellowship level of SAAARMM Education in Nutritional Medicine and is only available to Life Members & Corresponding Members of SAAARMM (with upfront membership payment of 10 years- Post Fellowship). To be able to obtain the Fellowship (FMNM), one must pose a Professional Certificate in Nutritional Medicine (PCNM). Candidates must undergo viva and submission of practical log book with case write up which is compulsory for FMNM. This log book is the clinical cases and minutes spent with patients applying the principles of Nutritional Medicine. The FMNM is aimed to equip you with the knowledge and experience required to expertly practice in nutritional medicine.
DIPLOMA IN NUTRITIONAL MEDICINE (ST. ELIZABETH UNIVERSITY, EU)
This program provides a good ground in Nutritional Medicine, as well as equips the candidate with state-of-the art skills in nutritional treatments, nutritional education, nutritional health promotion and nutritional research.

Eligibility for enrolment in SAAARMM Education mirrors eligibility for membership of SAAARMM and holders of Medical degree, details of which can be found on the website and the chart below.
Each module represents lectures and study by research mode management. Each module also has requirements such as pre-reading, pre-disposing and reflective activities and assessment tasks. Learning module booklets are available for students.
The maximum time that can be taken to complete the full course for
- Diploma or PCNM is 1- 2 years duration.
- Master Course is 5 years duration.
- Period of study for FMNM is within 2 years.
